Cookies From Home

Founded by Susan and Barry Brooks, Cookies From Home is a multi-million dollar cookie gift and mail order company serving cookie lovers since 1981.  Acknowledged as the “Best Cookies in Phoenix” by the Phoenix New Times, this entrepreneurial venture also received the Tempe, Arizona Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year award.  “Cookie Queen” Susan Brooks will talk about her entrepreneurial spirit, as well as, her sales, marketing and customer service skills used to launch this successful and delicious business. 
Susan will also provide a tour of the Cookies From Home facility which houses 20 employees, bakes over 12 million cookies a year and ships gifts worldwide from the Tempe, AZ headquarters.
The tour of the Cookies From Home facility begins promptly at 11:30 am followed by Susan’s presentation.  A light lunch, and of course, sweet treats will be provided.

Cost for the tour, dynamite presentation, sweets and connecting with colleagues is just $20 for practicing professionals and $10 for students with an entrepreneurial spirit.  Payment may be made at the door or mailed to the ACDA PO Box (top of flyer), but please RSVP your attendance.
