This engaging, interactive conference is for career development professionals and academic advisors in colleges, workforce development centers, K-12 schools, private businesses and all others who help to guide the decisions and direction of Arizona’s career seekers. Registration is $55 for ACDA members; $75 for Non-members (includes ACDA membership).

The narrative approach to career counseling enables clients to fit work into their lives, rather than fit themselves to jobs. Looking at lives as novels being written focuses attention on the themes that activate individuals. Dr. Savickas will discuss the challenges that our clients face in the ever-changing digital age, and how the narrative models & methods that emphasize life design rather than occupational choice can create career resiliency.
